Double standards for terrorism?

Saturday's deadly terrorist attack left 29 civilians dead and more than 130 injured at a railway station in the southwestern city of Kunming. After the attack, some major Western media outlets, including the New York Times, CNN, Reuters and BBC, described it as a deadly knife attack or a mass stabbing, in sharp contrast to their reports on the Boston bombing, not to mention the 9/11 attacks.  Do you think Western media is applying double standards for terrorism?
